Privacy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
Petit Pal is made for children. We keep data collection small on purpose. This page explains what happens when you use the site.
Who we are
Petit Pal is published by Upcott Studios. Questions about privacy: [email protected]. Publisher site: upcottstudios.com.
No accounts
You do not create a login. We do not ask for a child’s real name, email, school or home address. An optional first name for Pip the fox to use is stored only in this browser.
Progress on this device
Stars, stickers, streaks and mastered words are saved in the browser’s local storage on this device. Clearing site data resets progress. That information is not sent to Upcott Studios.
Visit counter
The home page shows a public visit count. It is a single running total for the whole site, not a profile of you. It does not store names or precise location.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show adverts. Google may use cookies or similar tools to serve ads. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses advertising cookies. Grown-ups can visit Google Ads Settings to review ad personalisation.
Amazon gift links
The Gifts page contains Amazon.co.uk links. As an Amazon Associate, Upcott Studios earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon has its own privacy notice for shopping on their site.
Outbound links
Sister sites, social share buttons and Amazon open other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Children
This site is intended to be used with a grown-up nearby. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing lists or profiles. If you believe a child has sent us personal details by email, write to us and we will delete them.
Your choices
- Clear this site’s data in your browser to erase local progress.
